A New Poem.

How I feel when the radio stations start playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving.

I’m discovering that interesting feeling of Christmas a little elusive this season. I thought it would be different since we aren’t having difficulties financially this Christmas like we were the last few decades.

Do you know what it is like to be alone in a crowd, alone and lonely on a crowded street just a few days before Christmas? Do you know what it is like to be old and alone? Have you ever been homeless, without food and shelter out in the cold and dark of night? Amy does and so does Mary and then they found the meaning and miracle of Christmas.

A poem dedicated to my little girl.

Why do we change the way we are … During that happy time of the year…
Friendly strangers and family near … Why can’t Christmas last all year?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Christmas time is when you ask yourself what you can give to charities. In the New Year you look at the clocks move to the next year and you are happy. So, there you go feel happy for there are many happy returns in the New Year.

I love Christmas! This is a poem about the memories of past Christmas’s that I hold in my heart and I cherish.

It is almost Christmas and whether or not you believe in Christmas, in God, in Jesus, this is a very special story about a very special Christmas tree with a very special message. It is about being different, it is about appearances, and about love and compassion and the real spirit of the Christmas season. It is about a miracle.

Written one Christmas Eve, as I wanted to capture the Christmas spirit and remind everybody what Christmas is all about.
