The pain is just too real

I can’t think and I can’t function

It’s getting harder and harder to deal.

I’ve had chronic pain for most of my life and I recently found out that I have Fibromyalgia. I wrote this during a really bad flare. I was in a lot of pain and in a really bad mood.

Fibromyalgia (pronounced fie-bro-my-AL-juh) is a real medical condition. It includes all-over muscle pain that can make it hard to do even day-to-day tasks. The pain may vary from mild to severe.

The muscle pain from fibromyalgia is one of the most common types of chronic widespread pain in the U.S. People with fibromyalgia may not know what is wrong with them or what is causing their pain. They may feel alone, recent research suggests that changes in the central nervous system may be responsible for the chronic pain that comes with fibromyalgia.

Sometimes those on earth are the truly dead.

Those of us who deal with chronic pain tend to ignore new symptoms. This is not good.

This is an article about people who’ve lost the people they love.

How do I accept that life as I once knew it is gone. Yesterday I was an active healthy 38 year old mother, wife, worker. Today, I live in chronic pain from Degenerative disc disease, Spinal stenosis, and Arthritis. Today, I no longer know who I am.

At first I was going to wait until I got my diagnosis before I began writing of my pain. Considering the fact that a bit over a year has passed and I’m no closer to an answer, I’ve decided it was time to talk.

It’s not easy being a young guy with a bad hip. When most people my age are in their prime and living life to its fullest, I’m stuck dealing with the pain and limitations imposed upon me by my bum hip. And it really sucks!
