Poem.

A meditational-visualization prayer. A prayer to use to try to open up to feeling God and the Holy Spirit within us. A prayer to help us know how lucky we are to know that we can feel this. That while others might also be loved by God, that we know that love personally. We can be like eagles and soar with the Angels.

No vocation is too low when it comes to making an honest living. The elevated and the lowly may be positioned apart, yet, merge together into the common highway of life.

Life is uncertain and subject to ups and downs, blossoming like the rose, only to wilt shortly thereafter. While reaping the fruits of our efforts in life, we must also contemplate life’s ebb and flow and resign ourselves to the inevitable.

This was the first poem I wrote that I highly enjoyed. Please give fair and honest critique.

Brief reflection of thoughts after learning of a realitve’s passing.

Not too long ago, I had a frisson of adrenaline when I first held one of my own books in my hands and saw my name on the soft cover. It was a heady moment and my first thought was the wish my father could have known of it.

Hesitation is the precursor to regret if you let this feeling overtake you regret will soon follow shortly thereafter.

Here I am contemplating my next move, I need to get my act together and get into the groove…
