Just crestfallen poetry…

Sometimes, man is slow or unwilling to react to situations around him. A little charity on the part of the author would have gone a long way in alleviating the hunger of a poor young man, and also in ensuring a peaceful night both for him and the author of this article.

It is my first poem so I am waiting for comments and especially from critics.
