Another poem I wrote when I was a child. This one concerns itself with the games certain people play and how they fade away. Being removed from reason exposes the true problem. There is always a path to redemption if you are willing to work for it.

Youth disports itself and the elderly look on and reflect. Did they do the same or has it all changed? Is it too late when we, at last, get old and cynical?

What does the new millennium hold? Much more of the same sort of thing? After the party what is left for us, what is new?
