This is a poem I wrote in honor of my past. It is based of facts of my life and what I feel.

When I was growing up, my dad was often on the road a lot. So I became a Momma’s girl. Well, in secret, I always wanted to be a Daddy’s girl. Striving to impress daddy. Striving to hear I am proud of you from daddy. Striving to do something that would catch his attention. I dedicate this to you, Daddy.

Life has its many twists and turns, those swift to evil leaving cuts bruises and burns. Life is hard to manage when love comes around. If you don’t know God’s love, then do you really know love at all.

He will always be my Hero…

Daddy is in heaven. Today is daddys’ day. Catholics celebrates All Saints Day today.

My sons 1st poem. yes words are misspelled but a nine year old wrote it & I like the childish look of it in my folder so I typed it like he wrote it. Only wish you could see the sloppy rugrat looking handwritting.
