The most difficult time in my life has been when those that are the closest to me have neglected to see how they kicked me when I was down. What makes a person want to give up? I have yet to be taken that far however I have been severely emotionally injured.

I pray someone learns something from this. I had to learn the hard way, as I lost it all…I am now 12 years later finally starting to learn.

Just another poem.

Some things are to painful to imagine.

This is one I just wrote documenting a struggle I went through. It’s pretty straightforward, but if you do not know me, you won’t know some of the poem. Regardless, enjoy! (I formally wrote poems under the name of Demetrias Park, and I wanted to go with my real name…well, almost, as it is not quite my government name.)

This poem was written some time ago and I never got around to finding the time publishing it. This came off of a certain image that I saw when I was out and about in my hometown of Brooklyn and it gave me that sense in which was the inspiration to this poem. I’ll leave it to the reader.
