This is one I just wrote documenting a struggle I went through. It’s pretty straightforward, but if you do not know me, you won’t know some of the poem. Regardless, enjoy! (I formally wrote poems under the name of Demetrias Park, and I wanted to go with my real name…well, almost, as it is not quite my government name.)
Continue ReadingThis poem was written some time ago and I never got around to finding the time publishing it. This came off of a certain image that I saw when I was out and about in my hometown of Brooklyn and it gave me that sense in which was the inspiration to this poem. I’ll leave it to the reader. Continue ReadingA poem about a particular moment and transition in time.
Continue ReadingThis poem was made shortly after “Christmas Mourning” but I decided to wait in order to publish it and wait until Christmas to officially publish it. I want to shout out to my readers with a Merry Christmas! And maybe a look into how I see Christmas through my eyes. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.
Continue ReadingA strangely enjoyable poem of mine that I’ve been working on. This took me a little while to write this one but overall, I put a lot of strange things in this poem that ultimately lead up to something that mankind cannot do without. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.
Continue ReadingBeing up on an open mic so much actually inspired this one. Where this is kinda like the feeling that I get after I walk off after I’ve spoken a poem. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.
Continue ReadingAs a poet, people have teased and mocked me over Facebook. I feel bad in some cases for these people because they don’t know what they’re missing. Anyhow, I decided to look into that old-school poem of "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue" I decided to make a mirror of it through that style in the lines and stanzas. The structure is more or less in the poem. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.
Continue ReadingShortly after making the poem “Auditorium Horror”, I wasn’t through yet in making something and in about a half an hour later, came this dark little poem. This one was inspired by how I look and see people in the future. Which my viewpoint isn’t very bright. Comments are open.
Continue ReadingThis strangely dark poem of mine has a strange tone to it and was inspired in the back of my English class. Other then they, I have nothing else to say. Comments are open.
Continue ReadingThis poem was very complex to write. It is also one of my most longest (but I hope the reader doesn’t get turned off by that because this is a pretty good piece that is worth the time). However this poem was built off of metaphors and some the many dark things that I see occurring in Manhattan, New York. This poem is quite twisted and it is a tough one to fully understand if people were to look at it with a narrow mind. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.
