A Poem on Waiting in Vain (in a Pink Daze)

I’m just breaking down.

Describing someone who walks around confused and spaced out.

Am I lost without you? It feels like a whole part of me has gone off with you.

Sonnet.

Because sometimes dreams can be arresting…

Some things are really not worth losing your soul for.

A dirty secret rots from the inside out.

This is a prose poem about one day when I started to daydream. I thought it would be an interesting topic for a poem, so I wrote it all down.
