30 of 50 haiku poems written on Friday, July 1, 2011 to document the day my husband had surgery. Each haiku deals with something that was around me that day from the time I left that morning until we were home and finally went to sleep.

A home deck is the ideal place kicking back after a long day`s work and just relax with family and friends. The deck is a great place for hosting a barbecue, a family dinner or party. There are many kinds of decks with various designs, however most people prefer a step deck; step decks are much more attractive and greatly improve the aesthetic appeal of any house. A step deck like any other area of the house that receives a lot of traffic requires a lot of maintenance to looking good.

I have to share this as it is soo sweet. I can not believe he made this up on his own.

Many people have grown up with the two amusing twins, Zack and Cody, and wonder the same thing: Is the show, the Suite Life on Deck, ending?

At my moms house whenever I was upset, I used to escape to the area below the bottom deck. There I had a place to sit beside the creek and sing songs or listen to birds sing songs, or just watch nature and relax. I would sit there for hours untill I felt better and I ended up in such a good mood that it somehow fixed all the problems in my life for the time being.
