More like tornadoes………..

13 of 50 haiku poems written on Friday, July 1, 2011 to document the day my husband had surgery. Each haiku deals with something that was around me that day from the time I left that morning until we were home and finally went to sleep.

You should have kept the love in your heart.

Our symbol, the eagle, has endured some real crap, but seems to be heading towards a showdown with evil and the enemy which is going to be epic! We will not back down!

Poem, couplet scheme.

This one is more to the tune of views on life and love. Try as I might though, I just can’t describe it.

Friendship is friendship, whether it is in war or in peacetime. The struggles of two men against powerful deities, condensed into an Ode.

The following poem is titled "Lamentations of Planet Earth. Its timely composition incorporates grievances of planet Earth, its lamentations, its continued kindness to humans, in spite of their failure to heed its warnings.

This is a poem about a victim standing up for themselves against their bullies and how they took their strength from God.
