An excerpt from a story I’ve been working on.

How bad it to allow yourself so much pain because of alcohol and what it does to your life.

It’s a poem about the average teenager trying to fight sleep to get the homework, college applications, etc. done that take up most of their time.

Determination is the deciding factor between if a person will fail or succeed. If you are determined the world is yours, but the minute you give up failure will be there to give you a warm welcome.
