This is a poem I wrote while I was going through some difficult times. I am asking my brother, who passed away, to be my guide.

Song about a young girl whose mother’s affair leads to the divorce of her parents and how she must say goodbye to the life and girl she once knew and was and welcome instead the new path and person that lies before her.

We all go through difficult times, but there is nothing we can’t overcome by believing in our faith.

Leaf is a journal entry and a poem in one. It’s about being stuck feeling left out and lost and overcoming it. Like a leaf blowing in the wind it’s more to your purpose also.
