This is a synical look at life in general. The poem tries to paint a picture of hope that often springs before us only to show its real face later when we analyse in hindsight. Nothing is as it seems. The world is full of people whose hopes and dreams will surely be dashed but we needn’t think this is a bad thing. Just an opportunity to shine even more than we ever did before.
