This song / poem was written while I was having a bad day at work. I remembered something in Junior High that was an experience from work and wanted to write something that was opposite of what the reader would expect to be good. Being upset and depressed is bad enough, but to meet people that live for it is where I draw the line. Bleeding through your eyes is symbolic of people who like to hurt themselves repeatedly to see what it will do and how it will affect thier body.

This song / poem is about a friend. She’s a real sweet girl, but ended up choosing other guys who were abusive. We came close to going out as a couple many times, but it never happened. We’re still friends, but I can tell that she’s been abused by men and is walking on egg shells. I’ve learned from books and experience that abusive women tend to keep going out with abusive men. My friend finally woke up, yea. This composition is about what I felt from her and a little of how I felt at the time.
