Try and look on the bright side when faced with a dark situation.

Something I experienced two nights ago…and in front of my home, no less! I’m still creeped out by it. This is my attempt at the Japanese literary form of haibun, a combination of prose and haiku.

A clearout can do you good.

A poem that indicates the realization that sometimes we cry.

I work for a bank and see many a disheartening letter from poor people hit by the credit crunch.

This poem is one that I have only recently written, I wrote it when someone I love more than life itself betrayed myself and others!
It was written with a sense not only of betrayal but also anger…. yet also honesty, for me it a piece that I read almost daily because it reminds me to understand that I could have foreseen nothing!

It is natural to dread a particular date or time of year, it is tragedy and raw anniversaries which mark these out for us.

See me, my love, oh please see me. I haven’t figured out how to make the stanzas stay.
