A modern poem…

Inspired by Sweeney Todd and Jack the Ripper.

I am the type of girl who knows how to act. I have manners, I understand politics, I do what I’m told. I’m Aldo, the type of girl that wears a mask every minute of the day. I’ve learned over the past four years who people want and what people like so that’s what I do.

I am twenty-years-old. Not quite sure how I got this far nor what I am doing in my life. Currently, I am unemployed and not attending school at the moment. I’m not exactly sure how much I can say about myself but to be truly honest I’m not even sure who I am these days.

This is a poem about every 21 year old out there having fun.

God’s children don’t belong in bars.
