Sixteen year old, Daniel Bryne, has had a rough life leading up to now. Her mother had an affair with a co-worker, and got pregnant with Daniel. James, her twenty-one year old, half brother, may seem like a caring brother, but actually hates her. James’ father, left them, leaving them alone. This short story is about a series of events that happen to Daniel.

Its thesis is that Love conquers all but that it has to undergo the processes of deception before it can find itself in clear light.
