I wrote this poem while on vacation on a beautiful place called Sanibel Island, Florida. When I walked the beach, I was amazed at all the seashells that were around me. As I was walking one day, I felt like some of these seashells had a spiritual story to share which inspired me to write the following poem. A prayer poem written with the inspiration of God through a Pastor’s message and later dedicated to the memory of a young lady who died in a tragic car accident on her way with two other college students to sing their praises to God in a Church service. The prayer is asking for life to be a challenge to the glory of God and not a compromise.
