Why do I continue to try to follow Jesus when I am continually failing in my efforts. The reason:

Time is very short to make a decision to follow Christ. Accept His free gift today. Don’t put it off one day longer. He is waiting to accept you into His family.
Time is also sort that we as Christian have to reach the lost for Jesus Christ.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 We need to be lighthouses for Christ, in word and deed, to bring the lost to Jesus Christ.

This true story brings the story of the Good Samaritan to 1966 in a farming community in western Wisconsin, which has experienced a great influx of new Amish neighbors. A farmer is injured and cannot harvest his crop on time. Help arrives from an unexpected source. This story also illustrates the harvest of souls of Christ.
