PTSD is becoming more prevalent on the decade-old wars we are having, and some people still don’t know what’s happening. Stress is handled differently by so many people – the outcome is sometimes dealt with, and at other times becomes battle fatigue, shell shock, or PTSD.

Why do some go about being as ugly on the inside as they are on the outside? Or, perhaps, their outside just takes on the image of the soul they have?

I remember when I went to my first wake. When a student passed away from falling off the back of a truck and cracked his head. I borrowed the experience and put my emotions and attitude of how I felt when I was eight years old being mis-treated by a teacher who was bigger than me. The teachers or anybody who’s bigger will always think their getting ahead until you become bigger than them.

A song that has no words that rhyme. Encompasses hatred, destruction in a direct way towards its objective. Just as "Warm Envy" was revised to have more direction and feeling. The same was done with Private, except it went deeper. Straight to the core of anger that was never released. It’s important to understand that when a child or teenager is told to ignore someone who is bugging you that your bottling up your anger and hatred. Ignoring the perpetrating doesn’t work and that’s a fact. It’s unhealthy and follows with destructive paths when you graduate. You have to ascert yourself, you have to stick up for yourself otherwise it damages your self esteem and respect. Nobody respects a person who doesn’t respect themselves. It’s important for parents and teachers to understand it because the person will harbor anger towards you when he sees you and that’s a promise.

Triumph is given to those who stand, or at least attempt to stand against oppressors!

Second song written in junior high. This song also went through a series of revisions until it had the right balance and tone. It’s similar to Heart of Hell except its about feeling like the scare crow and it’s very direct in it’s meaning as feeling useless, but eventually the tables turn and the perpetrator becomes the scare crow. The enemy become useless and good for nothing.

The song is about the idea of a student getting bullied, teased, harassed at school to the point where he brings a gun to school and shoots people. A song that’s easy to relate to when somebody is ticked off.

This poem is about how one day it will be the Hour of our soul, when we all must make a decision.
