The 1st short story I’ve ever done. I’ve done scripts for films, tv shows but never a short story. It’s hard when you don’t know the right kind of people as they won’t know you as you aren’t one of them – how to be one of them? I’ve got the talent but I don’t have the knowhow plus I don’t judge people on who they know. Many do. The man in this story does – plus he’s not as talented as he thinks he is.

Six friends, each of whom find themselves battling their own unique struggles of young adulthood, somehow manage to getaway from these problems, finding themselves gathered around a piece of child’s playground equipment, absent for one moment from the things in life that bring worry and unhappiness, and for that moment, these six individuals successfully escape troubled lives and manage to enjoy being kids again, all awhile, our narrator is fully conscious of each person’s true personality and lifestyle, realizing that this moment will soon expire, and everyone will have to inevitably face these troubles once more.
