My breakdown of Margaret Atwood’s short story, "February".

A little from the top of my head before I go to work.

February is a special month. February can have twenty seven or twenty eight days whereas the other months have thirty or thirty one days. There are people who think that there can be an eclipse on that day that can cause floods or make people have seizures.

Eight years ago today my brother and I were walking in Snowdonia with two friends. It was a freezing day, a complete white out on the highest point in Wales. As we were about to leave the summit of Snowdon, my brother collapsed with a heart attack. It was cold and lonely and he died that day on the "misty mountain".
