Continue ReadingWhen my daughter was a toddler, we lived for several months in NYC. For those who have never been there, it is a wonderful city full of energy and intensity and, ummm, dirt. It is a very dirty city and every evening when we got home from our daily adventures she was covered in dirty smudges. This poem describes our average day in Queens.
