A fun poem about walking in the night with a flashlight. One of my chores when I was a kid was to take out the trash after supper, and it was dark, walking to the dumpster in the dark I often came across a few wild domestic cats, bats, and owls. I would run as fast as I could to toss the trash and then run back to the house. One time I will never forget a bat had wings like an eagles length I screamed and ran.

I spent over an hour walking around a big book store this afternoon. Thinking about that inspired this poem.

A person finds herself in a dark place and is fearful of the things around her. She becomes relieved to find out that things were not what she had previously thought.
