New beginnings sometimes seem to take forever but when they appear they are like a breath of fresh air.

This poem describes how I "lose myself" in thought and how now, since my thoughts are fading away, I keep thinking about all the time I’ve lost and how I am going to make up for that time being lost and start fresh.

The best things this year will be created by You,
a result of both what you do and how you are being.

The numbers on a calendar do not make a year,
and moments in our lives are not marked.
Each come to us as the other -
to see what we make of them,
and what we are made of.

Its funny to think what is in our past never seemed to exist.

Every day is an opportunity, an opportunity to start over.

A new day brings new thoughts, new beginnings, and never-ending discovery.

You ever feel as if Murphy’s Law has taken over and nothing seems to fall in place… your entire space or world is filled with chaos, grief, pain, and lack of direction? Well, this poem displays a new beginning removing the past from what I have personally dealt with most of my life. I’m sure many can relate.
