Last year’s attempt at a Fairy Village was put together in a hurry, and although the granddaughter’s and other visitors loved it, I plan to make it much better this year. Fairy houses are so much fun to make that it’s impossible not to become enchanted as you make them.

There are many animals which thrive in rains, where they become alive and kicking, while they spend most of the year in dormancy awaiting rains.

Amphibians such as frogs, toads, newts and salamandars can survive both in land and water. A haiku tribute to these amazing denizens.

This is the story of a little toad frog that would change my life for ever!!
