We Americans are losing jobs right and left. It is time for each of us to help each other by doing a different job, one that has been needing our attention for years. In early November 1984, India witnessed one of the worst communal carnage’s in its history as an independent and democratic nation. This carnage followed the assassination of the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi by her own Sikh bodyguards. The carnage that followed was at the time seen as a means of vengeance against the Sikhs. This narration is an attempt to describe one major incident that happened during those very troubled days. I personally am a Sikh and hence it is from a Sikh perspective.
