This poem was published in 2009 in the magazine Shadows & Light. The owner of the magazine, Angel Shadow, has since canceled the magazine and instead focused on writing and publishing books, including a poetry book, Wicked Winds, that I highly recommend.

“Ghosts” is the subject which baffles everyone, everywhere. Even after the advancements of science, the reality about ghosts remains a mystery till this day. But human beings have always been inquisitive. Harry Prince spent 40 years in unraveling the mystery about ghosts in vain.Spirit photographers tried their best to substantiate the facts. But again processed with little success.

In fact, all efforts have been without success. Often people who claim to have seen a ghost are labelled as fraud or suffering psychologically. Science has totally disbelieved in the existence of ghosts. Yet, the phenomenon exists and is as true as our reflection in the mirror.

Someone who cannot succeed and any task in life, and usually never even bothers trying.

When you lose your best friend, it can break your heart.

And all that is left of humanity is the ghost in the shell.
