"Who is Your Hero?"

A short fiction passage of how soldiers endured while living in the trenches of Europe during WWI.

This is just the imagery that came to mind when I watched the Shock-In-Awe attack on tv, a few years back. I don’t want to get into a war or politics discussion with anyone. I was just giving a poetic description of it.

With several countries under gunfire, souls are liberally soaring the vast skies and bodies are decaying under mountains of wet sod.
