There are rituals, traditions and protocols to respect. In Kirundi for example the traditional wedding complements the official and the religious wedding. The couple stays three nights together without going outside and on the third night they receive guests who bring them food, drinks and all they need in the household for a month and they do the same when the child is born to stay in the house and come out with the child to introduce him to the respective parents.
