In memory of my Father I Penn this piece.

In the house next to me, the woman who lived there died, and her son moved in. He was a great guy, but he had PTSD and related emotional problems. He used to keep his yard in immaculate condition, until one day he disappeared. Recently I was told that he died in the same house, and the house was offered up for sale at a pittance. I attended a walk through, and was shocked at the state of disrepair.
I had speculated that he may have committed suicide in his garage, though I have no definitive information concerning the actual cause of his death.
I don’t believe in ghosts, but from time to time I swear I can hear his huskies howling from the backyard, even though they have been gone for some time.
I enter this as part of a small series dedicated to my neighbor, and friend that passed away. His name is Henry.
