It happened two years ago when a good male friend of mine left me hanging. I’ve tried to reach out but I guess he had decided to end our friendship. Too bad I have no courage to tell him how much he means to me, how much I needed him even as a friend.

Paramour means "secret lover"

No words, no communication, nothing. It’s hard to express yourself when others continually berate you, belittle you, emotionally and verbally abuse you. There’s no escape, even when looking into a mirror.

A hidden past cannot build a trust worthy relationship.

A very personal, yet unpersonal write. It’s fiction and reality in one. This poem is quickly becoming one of my favorites because of its unusal format. It has no particular rhyming pattern or wording scheme. I want all opinions.

You hide your feelings from the world.

You confuse me.
