Dedicated to my friend who is currently struggling in a battle with cancer. I’ve always looked up to her because of her bright smile and beautiful, long hair. I wrote this poem for my sister who’s daughter was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma at the age of 13.

My sister’s life draws to a close. I am saddened to have lost her so early, but ever so thankful to have had her in my life.
