When the Rapture occurs, what will we be doing? Staying, or participating?

A short poem.

Once we meet the Lord, our permanent home isn’t on this earth any more.

One may get greater joys from simple things in life, yet we fail to discern the truth.

I wrote this poem after watching the movie, "On Golden Pond". I had never seen this movie until years after its release, but there was one scene between Henry Fonda and Kathryn Hepburn where they were watching two little ducks swim in peace on the pond near their home and it reminded me of how true love is found in the beauty of nature and between two little ducks who always swim in pairs because they love each other that much! If you ever have felt like love is just out of your reach, this poem is a reminder to never give up hope.

When the world is dark, cold and you have no place to call your home. Call to God. Go to him he’ll have the lights on and the door open to his kingdom. He wants to know whats troubling you. He cares very deeply for you, more then you’ll ever know. So go..go home to him! His waiting with open arms and ready to give you very special attention.
