Anne Rice, Buffy, Angel, many other fine novels that were NOT Twilight. What was an aspiring writer to do? The only thing a young, early twenties, angst ridden, writer of bad poetry could do.

This was back when vampires were bad ass killers and Anne Rice still wrote horrific horror. When I wrote this series I thought myself a poet and a bit of a goth.
