I worked in hospice for quite a few years. You meet so many great people. I was thinking about a beautiful young woman in particular when I wrote this. She and her partner where very much in love. I will never forget his face…it was a long battle for both of them. I think sometimes when they pass, they still have won. No more pain – much peace!
