Rhythm, Step up Poem.

The abatimbo are the master drummers of Burundi. In the word abatimbo there is the suffixe imbo which is an natural region of Burundi around lake Tanganyika. The suffixe abati comes from the verb guta which means to throw or to leave.

She made me feel the same way music makes me feel.

I don’t really know how to describe this poem. A friend of mine believed it to be "Strong. And frightening. Your matching a symphony with pain (self-destructive?) is the stuff of nightmares. "
