My wife and I had to drive around 200 miles and the weather became very wintry with heavy snow falling, this is an account of that days drive and then the same day another 200miles to return home.

During the stay with our cousins in France, I had picked up the habit of eating frog legs, and loved it. My grandmother was not impressed by it. Finding that our Scottish cousins shared my passion for frogs, she smelled her chance to teach me a lesson.

Travelling to Inverness, my grandmother and I were met with an unforeseen interruption to our journey.
