Nothing is as shocking.

The shocking words “Amy Winehouse is dead” appeared as a text message on my phone on July 23rd, 2011. In the next few hours the same words were all over the news and the internet. As the story of her tortured life and death unfolded, it became apparent that she was the latest member of ‘The 27 club’ or the ‘Forever 27 club’. The members of this club were all talented musicians who died at the young age of 27. The following is a list of just 10 of them.

On 5th April 1994 the singer Curt Cobain took a shotgun, blew his brains out, and gained immediate entry to The 27 Club.
