The power within: unit 10.

Better part of me: pt.1.

How one person changed the life of others.

God is my light that shines so bright every night and day of my life.
He will never leave me or forsake me.

God uses the little insignificant things to defeat the powers of evil. God shows his omnipotent power by using the powerless to defeat our enemies. Gideon’s army defeated a numberless enemy with only 300. The only weapons they had were pitchers, lanterns and trumpets. Joshua, again had no offensive weapons but obeyed God defeated the walled city of Jericho. They defeated their enemies by obeying God and allowing God’s Spirit to defeat the enemies inspite of their weakness. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord" Zechariah 4:6.

This chapter of The Hallway Book is quite a bit longer than the preceding four. Not only is it longer, but it is also stranger, funner, and a ton of other -ers that are present whether or not they are grammatically correct.

The main character finds himself in a strange place in his life. He’s just lost the woman he loved more than anything, even though she never (openly) loved him back, and on top of that, has found out he doesn’t have much longer to live. As he struggles through this crisis he comes to a disturbing choice. Do I risk my short life to save an innocent, or savor the last of my days, a coward? Thus it hits him. He has nothing left but life to lose, and he no longer has to imagine when. This tale of vigilante justice covers the story of a man who has chosen to fight other peoples battles, whilst battling his own demons, and discovering just what his life was worth.
