Sin can be fun, exciting. It can be tantalizing, challenging. But, given the chance, it will give its participants a taste of hell, as it did me.

While the 1950s are often looked upon by some of us as the "good old days," by contrast the 1960s brought whirlwinds of trouble. What a time for a young boy like me to go through his latter formative years! Not only were there outside forces affecting me, but there were also problems at home. However, this was nothing that God could not unravel.

Though a child is shaped by his parents, siblings, friends, school, religion, and other societal factors, no foundation laid by mankind in a child is immutable. Some are replaced or altered by society as a child grows. However, Almighty God remains the ultimate authority over the course of each individual as dictated by the course a person chooses to take. Though we all go astray due to our will, He lays His own foundations.
