For the first time, in the era of modernization, we saw the peacekeeping missions operate in Africa, in Rwanda, Angola and Bosnia Herzegovina. For the students at that time, this is very important because this missions of the United Nations were like mission of rescue of the intellectuals who with them were working hard for democracy.
