My friend, Margo, posed a very intriguing and important question on FB that went something like this: Can kismet (fate) be altered? I myself wonder if kismet can be altered, how is it done?

Is it the desire for beauty that causes all the trouble…or, the beauty itself? Is it okay to substitue beauty for love? Do we even know when it is happening?
