It is not often I write a poem which is a little funny, so this is a first.

Cats can climb up trees quickly, but because of the way their claws are curved, must back down the tree. Because of this, a house cat with no tree climbing experience can become stuck in a tree. Sometimes, we humans operate in much the same way.

My first really positive anything.

Sometimes in life, we’re called upon to do the brutal, dirty work that no one else is able or willing to do. Here at our family’s animal sanctuary, we just did another successful animal rescue mission, and what seems to others to be thankless and pointless work is really quite rewarding!
