This is my first attempt at writing a palindrome poem. Please forgive me my mistakes.

You rescued me from the pain I was suffering.

You couldn’t tell the woods from the trees.

I don’t want you anymore.

Your pain was far too intense.

I kept on seeing an omen for death.

You were as cold as ice.

You ruined everything we had.

I have been feeling this way for weeks.

Some lovers are hard to get over.
