Saw this form and had to give it a try, I think it’s great!

Sometimes thoughts have enough power to make the thinker react. We sometimes don’t even know we react unless we are standing before a mirror.

This is a poem I wrote a few years back for a creative writing exercise. It took me a few years to figure out what it was actually about but life has a way of putting the pieces in place.

A short, impromptu description of a lake someplace. Wordy and lots of shameless metaphor.

Not a single moment rippled.
Suddenly a face at the same time the smell of stagnant lakegreen veining trees,
Together with mushroom umbrella sitting on the foot – foot stoolwith moss-colored stone upfront.

Flamingo is a bird species that survive in conditions that can not normally.

Became something of interest for fireworks shadow will appear at the surface of the water.

Perhaps Lord will forgive one on breaking fresh,new heart and for
breaking already broken heart He will never forgive.
This is my December and me alone again.
