Decisions need to be thought about.

Things are often clearer in retrospect.

You didn’t realise at the time just what a good woman you had.

The world lost somebody special.

You have fallen victim to a futile love.

A loved one’s absence is unbearable.

Nobody should try and exercise control over anybody else.

If something seems too good to be true then it usually is.

Most of my poetry was done when I was feeling sad, so I apologise if anyone gets bored of how my poems seem to be sad, but at the times I wrote these I was generally a sad individual.

This is a poem I wrote when I was about 16. I’ve been bullied all of my life, and I suppose writing was the only way that I could stop myself from doing something that I regretted. This poem hurts me a lot to read, because it reminds me of the times I try so hard to forget.
