A true story in poetic form…

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for My I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" Luke 1:28-29.

The ship “Amistad” carried black people from Africa, in the 1800’s, to Cuba and then to the US to be sold into slavery. This is the story of one man who made a difference.

Human rights are an important concept of our society. Therefore, it is important to be tolerant with those who advocate for human rights especially when they react to protect traditions and the future of the society that made who they are today.
