As I sit on this chair, in this room all alone. I feel afraid and lonely. All the people around me are all gone, and I realize that all I have on this world is my God and I. That’s all am ever going to have for the rest of my life. Am a believer and God is my only hope. All the pleasures and complications of this life are now away. There is peace deep within but it’s startled by unknown fear for the future. It’s at this moment that I ever can realize who really I am. No noisy roommates. No one at all. The room is rather warm, thanks to the inventor of the resistive coil. My rather outdated desktop seems to just help me keep up with this complicated situation. Even though, I have a little flame of hope in me I must confess.

One man’s journey through life…….

This poem is written for a very close friend of mine who recently passed away. Being a famous personality, it is written in first person about the first experiences of the after-life. It also has the twinge of wanting what he cannot go back to but at the same time telling people that he cared for to be happy for him as he has finally found his rest….

Is there more life after retirement? Some people like me think that you have to be more careful and eat more often when you are a senior. By that time you should have a good experience of life.
