This is a number of un-related poems, off the top of my head, on August 25, 2011. Many were just stuck in my mind for years, and I decided to share them. I have used poetic license to paraphrase some things that may have been originally created by some other person, but I have not purposely tried to copy any one else’s work. (If you think I have, let me know, and I will remove or change it).

I try to teach this technique to relatives.

This is a short, lighthearted rhyme about the agonies of potty training a toddler.

So men thinking they are macho, you will never experience these things. These things are what make women the stronger sex. Lighthearted. Opinion only.

A poem to illustrate the passing of time from the perspective of a tree.

This is just a short smile for the season. Hubby has shoulder surgery on the 8th of December, which explains the reference to the “one arm”.
